01 • Foundations

Goals and mission statements

A clear mission becomes the compass for every decision EMMA makes.

1) The 8 Pistons of Life

EMMA is a US-based IRS 501(c)(3) global philanthropic entity that helps people reach their maximum potential via the Founder's 8 Pistons named after Greek gods and goddesses: Health (Hygieia), Wealth (Plutus), Intellect (Athena), Family (Philotas), Travel (Hermes), Philosophy (Dike), Self-Mastery (Sophrosyne), and Philanthropy (Eleos).

2) Teaching people how to think

The goal is to foster rational, logical, just, and impartial thought based on science and reason. Practice turns conclusions into habits, revealing the real magic.

3) Seven tiers of daily practice

EMMA provides seven tiers of non-denominational services and encourages a balanced life that blends wealth, health, spirituality, enlightenment, eudaemonic, ascetic, stoic, and balanced-epicurean elements, with diet, exercise, self-mastery, and meditation.

4) Clearer thinking to solve problems

To fix material and spiritual issues, EMMA replaces flawed ideas with logical, science-based concepts, using the 7 Commandments of the 21st Century Science.

5) Feeding the soul as well as the body

Beyond food and shelter, EMMA nurtures the mind that discerns truth from falsehood, allocating more resources to elevate consciousness while still providing material aid.

6) Clarity amid misinformation

Recent election cycles, global conflicts, pandemics, and big-tech power have exposed corruption across institutions, eroding trust and highlighting the need for personal discernment.

7) Empowering individuals first

EMMA believes governments, corporations, media, and conventional education will not fully serve ordinary people; change must be driven by individuals helping each other reach their highest potential.

8) Self-reliance and resilience

EMMA discourages entitlement mindsets and instead promotes self-reliance, responsibility, hard work, and charity for the unfortunate while building strength on your own merit.

9) A grassroots, bottom-up movement

By empowering individuals and fostering collaboration, EMMA aims to create ripple effects that improve the world through the 7-tier system and trickle-down impact.

10) Test your thinking

Challenge your biases and reasoning via The 1% and Better - 8 Clubs, P3: Intellect - 8PQ Athena, and read chapter 1 of the Book of Intense Truth.

11) Rewiring the mind

Harness the prefrontal cortex (System 2, the rider) to guide System 1 (the elephant), overcoming cognitive dissonance and unhelpful habits with science, reason, and truth.

02 • The path

How EMMA puts the mission into action

Step by step, the mission turns into habits, culture, and real-world impact.

1Appeal to emotion with compassion and truth

Create a warm environment while teaching the bitter truth, honest self-analysis, and rational life review to reconfigure the prefrontal cortex (System 2).

2Daily practice and re-patterning

Provide a friendly space for rituals, meditation, and stoic practice so System 1 is gradually aligned with well-thought-out ideas.

3Local chapters

EMMAM will be allowed to open local EMMA chapters with guidance from the foundation.

4Public discourse

EMMAM and other professionals will be interviewed for EMMA's YouTube channel to educate the public.

5Train the elephant

System 1 is 84% of the brain and holds untapped power; EMMA trains members to influence it and align passion with EMMA's value system.

6Learn from thinkers

System 1 and 2 were described by Nobel Laureate Daniel Kahneman in Thinking, Fast and Slow.

7Track and refine progress

Members monitor their progress and fine-tune personalized strategies for success.

8Commit for life

Members (EMMAM) commit for life, take an oath to help others for life, and operate openly regardless of race, sex, religion, or origin.

9Entrepreneurship and investment

Entrepreneurs can build their own ideas or join EMMA initiatives; investors can join the CLAP club and Plutus Investment to connect with founders and angel investors.

10Why people fall short

Common blockers include self-deception and lies; wanting things for free and now; tunnel vision; lack of critical thinking and logic; and poor emotional control.

11Invitation to driven talent

Professors, graduate and Ph.D. students, and professionals anywhere in the world can join, contribute brain, time, and skill, and earn sweat equity in EMMA-sponsored startups.

03 • Volunteers & ripple effects

Principles that amplify impact

When volunteers live these principles, every small act multiplies across society.

Snowball effect

Small actions compound. The Ice Bucket Challenge showed how a simple idea can go global and fund real change.

Survival for the most adaptable

Adapt to thrive. Netflix evolved from DVDs to streaming, proving flexibility wins in changing environments.

Pareto's law

Roughly 80% of outcomes come from 20% of inputs. Focus effort where it creates outsized results.

Price's law

The square root of the number of people in a domain creates half the output. A small group can move the needle for millions.

Proximity matters

You become the average of the five people you spend time with. Curate circles that push you higher.

Lessons from history

Scarcity and abundance follow those who build capability; purpose and rigor compound over time.

Lessons from history and scripture

These references remind us that wisdom is not new — EMMA simply translates it into a modern framework.

Matthew 25:29 (NIV): For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

Mark 4:25 (NIV): Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

Luke 8:18 (NIV): Therefore, consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them.

04 • Final takeaways

What EMMA asks of every member

The mission only works if each member carries a piece of it into their daily life.

Self-awareness with honesty

Most people desire wealth without admitting it; EMMA pairs thoughtful charity with a venue to build value and help others.

Survival and group uplift

Nature favors groups that cooperate. EMMA enhances group survival for self-interest through intelligence and collaboration.

Positive-sum mindset

In positive-sum games, nice people can finish first. Reputation, cooperation, and creating new value matter most.

Emergent possibilities

Consciousness, fairness, and shared purpose can shift outcomes. Feeding both the body and the mind is required.

Join and grow

EMMA seeks volunteers and builders who want meaning, excellence, and the chance to create outsized, positive change.
